Researchers from Wellcome Sanger Institute and European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) have revealed that a blood test for changes in the DNA code can help predict a patient’s risk of developing acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) years before a positive diagnosis.​

When Matt Dalley fell off his BMX bike and broke his ankle, he had no idea that the accident would actually save his life. Today I had the amazing opportunity to carry the Olympic torch in Seoul, leading up to the 2018 Winter Games where, for the first time in history, Nigeria will field a team (in women's bobsled) using the sports federation my friends and I created years ago. Just nine short years ago, it seemed highly improbable that I would survive leukemia and lymphoma.
